Here, I'll explain. For the first one:
A. is correct because the rule is you add apostrophe+s unless it already ends in an "s". Since "children" does not end in an "s", you use "children's."
B. is not correct, because "woman" should be followed by apostrophe+s, not the opposite. It should be "woman's"
C. is not correct. It is not "lady" or it would end in a "y". So it is "ladies", more than one lady. Since "ladies" ends in an "s", you do not need another "s". It should be "ladies' lingerie"
D. is not correct. There is more than one monkey, so there are "monkeys". That ends in an "s". You don't need another "s", It should be "monkeys' noise."
For the second one:
A. is correct. That is what a topic sentence is. It gives the topic or main idea.
B. is not correct. A transition sentence is probably the last sentance in the paragraph. It makes moving on to the next paragraph easier, like a bridge between topics.
C. is not correct. A linking sentence does help focus the main idea, but it does not introduce it. After your topic sentence tells what you will talk about, the linking sentence keeps up the interest and tells a little more of what you'll talk about. It links the first sentence to the rest of the theme.
C. is not correct. An explanatory sentance can explain anything, not the just the topic.

Well, the first one's definitely A. As for the second one, I'll say it's A because the "main idea" is another term for topic. If a sentence is introducing the topic, it would have to be a topic sentence. In order to explain a sentence, for choice D, the topic would already have to be present. But even so, I don't like the way this question is phrased.
