..when porn "stars" that are engaged or married are doing it with other dudes in the "movies"? Why or why not?

Also, what's the difference between porn "stars" and prostitutes?

on my second question - why is one legal and the other is not? I can never understand that logic!

Well... if their spouses know about it, it's not cheating. You can't cheat on somebody if they already know you're going to do it and agree with it... I don;t think there's much difference between prostitutes and porn stars. They all have s.e.x for money.

A porn star and a prostitute have in common that they are both paid for having sex and for some sort of "acting". The main difference is that a porn star role requires more 'acting' abilities, is legal and regulated by many laws and business rules and so on...

Actually upon the recent past 10 years, the porn star industry has changed the concept of porn sex. what this means is that they actually don't get to have the sex, it just looks like they are, due to the aids awareness and the std high count. Insurance companies, started charging more for the porn stars, and the industry couldn't pay. now for the lower rated industry, which comes far between ick and yuck (amateur porn) they have open contract and cheap labour costs, but it is cheating only 'if' they are actually doing it, if engaged, but alot of times also - they do it with their partners to be married.

as far as your 2nd question, there isn't alot of difference, but with the prostitutes, they seem to have 1 night stands and they are not tested before hand of "disease" porn stars are checked regularly.

Porn Stars and Prostitutes don't believe it's cheating because they get pd 2 do it and it's their business (job) 2 where in ur personal life u don't get pd 2 do it. When U love or care about the person ur with U don't look @ it like I have 2 do it where ur committed, but when U get pd 2 do it ur in a whole different world U shut down ur feelings and forget about ur personal life temporarily. Don't get me wrong cuz later on they regret it somewhere down the line whether it effects their relationship or it will effect their emotional and mental state. I don't think they all do it because they love it. I think most of them do it because of the money and they don't know of any other way 2 survive, however their might be a few out their that do it cuz they love it or like it. I never really thought about it but you do have a question that I think has an answer , the difference between "stars" and prostitutes is the location of their work. Other than that there is no difference that I can come up with, especially with the facts that they both use sex and get paid for it.

Cheating means basically lying. If the porn star's husband knows what she is doing, it really isn't cheating. If they agree in what she does, there is no lying or cheating at all. The pornography stars are doing it for the money. Either becasue they really want the money, or maybe they are trapped
into doing it by their boy friends, strangers with whom they might had a fling, or someone with whom they had a one night affair.
Married people are also into it. At times they have afetish & voyeurism gives them their kick.

This is cheating. Its not the done thing in their real life.

With Prostitues it is totally justified. They are in this profession, which is called the oldest proffessionin the worl, just for the money part. Their income comes only through sex, with anyone who is ready with the price of the goods on display. Its just
plain, physical sex, no emotions or strings attached.
