What are you assessing for? Usually the assessment process consists of a battery of standardized tests. From experience, one of the challenges is the format of the tests. A lot of the kids I work with have auditory processing difficulties and the tests tend to require a lot of listening on the student's part. You can't modify the test because that would no longer make it a standardized test, your results would be compromised.
