It's much worst here in wales, were right next to england. When it rains, oh does it rain, hell i'm thinking of taking swimming lessons just to be on the safe side.

Whats the weather system like over in good ol Japan.
I'm hoping to go there on day.

Some areas have summer rain, some winter rain. The UK has all round year rain - it's why the gardens are so beautiful. Believe me, after a few weeks of hot dry summer, the rain is very welcome. Especially as at the moment we've got a hosepipe ban - had too little rain, would you believe? - and I'm lugging around up to 30 watering cans of water a day.

Because weather front mostly move in from the west, where they've picked up a lot of water over the atlantic. (That's why Ireland gets more rain than mainland UK)

Brittain is an island surrounded by lots of water. The sun evaporates the water which collects into clouds, When the cloud gets too fat it bursts. Hence the rain. (The scientific explanation sounds a lot more clever but means the same thing)

It does rain... but I prefer the rain to sunshine. It's so uncomfortable when it's too hot. Yes it does rain, however, I'd rather rain than tsunamis and hurricanes that's for sure.

it doesnt ALWAYS rain in the UK and rain isnt good but when it is hot here it is very muggy so sometimes a bit of rain clears the air which can be quite nice

and anyway, there is something very sexy about warm summer rain!
