Different books? Look into Ingram Wholesale, the largest distributor of books in the US. If you are a bookseller, you get about a 45-55% discount depending on the publisher.

define a large quantity....
if you are talking about 40 or 50 then try a book store or even an aution house (for second hand books or old books)
You could also try the publishers or wholesalers (WHSmith wholesale books, or at least they used to in the early 80s)

why don't you go round local book shops and ask them where they get book from. say it's for corse work and most shops won't mind.
