I am an alternative medicinal therapist(not homoeopathy) and an ex nurse
I have patients with this problem all the time. I have had a lot of success with: Evening Primrose Oil-Sage (for the flushes) & Black Cohosh and a combination pill called Menopace.. I myself take these and I have never felt better. i went on HRT and it gave me muscular spasms in my arms and chest and bells palsy. I do not believe in man made hormones, HRT is known to cause breast and uterine Cancer. If you want any more advice on the dosages, e mail me but give me your full e mail address for a reply.

It definitely sounds that the HRT is not cutting it for you. Some people use over the counter medications to alleviate their symptoms, but I think in your case you need better management. Why a GP? This may be out of his league. A reputable OBGYN is needed. Choose carefully. Ask people you trust. See which ones are on your insurance plan. Most plans allow you to see an OBGYN without a consult from your primary doctor. I hope you feel better soon. I'm sorry for your loss. I wish I had more information to be of assistance. My thoughts are with you.

i'm not a Dr. yet I genuinely have in no way heard of a lady your age going into menopause. that's till they have a terminal ailment. Why do you imagine that ? Menopausal women have warm flashes, on and stale back menstrual cycles, mind fog, psychological ups & downs and many different quirks. I went by ability of mine in my mid 40s.
