Does Orlando Bloom seem like a Errol Flynn wannabe in Pirates of the Carribean?

Especially that scene where he slides down the sail with a sword, that was straight out of Captain Blood.

A lot of things in that movie seemed to be pirated ideas from other movies.

not really. its just how they wanted the character to be in the movies. i can see what your saying though. the whole good-doer type, but like i said, its just how they wanted Will Turner to be.
