What is the best (and warmest) place in Canada ?

I have lived in almost every province in Canada including the ocean front on both coasts and I have to say that although they all have good points Victoria through to Sooke B.C. has to be the prettiest and cleanest place I've seen. There is so much to do and see there and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. It rarely snows and is has the mildest year round weather. Southern Ontario is very hot in the summer, but the hottest area is in the Kelowna/ Vernon area of the Okanagan in southern B.C. I lived there for two years and the temperatures reach up to approximately 38- 43 degrees Fahrenheit consistently throughout most of the summer. It's a very dry heat whereas southern Ontario is very humid. and the high temperatures there comes in waves with cooler temperatures in between.

Victoria BC has the mildest weather in Canada. It is also the most beautiful. With it's hanging flower baskets, neatly edged and trimmed grass, very little garbage, smooth roads, over-abundance of flower displays, sidewalk cleaners (zambonis), brand new lowering buses, etc, etc.
It is the only city that even looks nice during the winter.
I have been to all major cities in Canada, and by far, Victoria spends the most $$ on appearance.
It rarely if ever gets any snow during the winter. The last time a good accumulation of snow occurred was back in 1994.
Vancouver is nice in it's own way, but it is not as beautiful as Victoria.
I was there for 12 years, ended up moving to Vancouver last year because of my job.
There is no other city that even comes close to the amount of cleanliness, they even go as far as scraping the gum off the sidewalks, washing the bus stops, and putting restrictions/laws on the homeless as to how and where they can pan-handle.

Vancouver is one of the warmer places in Canada, but the warmest is Lytton, B.C. It's up the Fraser Canyon. It's not exactly a tourist town, but it consistently has the highest temperatures in Canada.
As for the best? Vancouver, hands down. It's got tons of actvities, for all ages and interests, and it's the center for all sorts of outdoor events, from paddling, sailing, beach volleyball, hiking, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, etc.etc.etc.
It's just a great place to live.

Victoria is the warmest city. If you only care about warmest that would make it the best but when you look at the economy, Calgary and Edmonton are the best.

In January, the average daily high and low temperatures are 7.0 °C (44.6 °F) and 3 °C (37.4 °F), respectively. The summer months are equally mild, with an average July high temperature of 19.8 °C (67.6 °F) and low of 11.3 °C (52.3 °F). The record daily high temperature was 35.3 °C (95.5 °F) on July 23, 2004, and the record daily low temperature was -15.6 °C (3.9 °F) on January 28, 1950.

Victoria experiences a mild, rainy winter and relatively dry summers. The wettest month on average is December, with 109 mm (4.3 inches), compared to just 14 mm (0.5 inches) in July. In January, Victoria receives an average of 15.2 cm (6.1 inches) of snow, a figure skewed by the record-breaking Great Blizzard of 1996, when the city was buried under 120 cm (4 feet) of snow, receiving 64.5 cm (25.8 inches) in just one day. Hello friends,

I would be moving to Ontario by this year end 2016 and am considering the places like Vaughan, Oakville or Burlington? What do you guys suggest? Are those safe and warm places to live and what about the job opportunities in those places?

The best place in Canada is Montreal. There are any real WARM places in Canada in the winter; your best bet is to live in an apartment and work in an office both of which are connected directly to the Metro (subway), so you don't have to go outside between December and April if you don't want. (There are plenty of people who do this!)

Well Windsor Ontario is the southern most and warmest city in Canada, but is by far not the best. High crime, high unemployment, worst pollution in the country, etc etc.
Go to Vancouver, that's where I'm moving soon as I get out of this trap called Windsor. :P

Probably the warmest place would be the southernmost city, Leamington, Ontario. My personal favorite place is St. Catherine Street in Montreal.........party central!!
