Go to control panel then system. Click on hardware tab and device manager. There should be a link to the audio drivers. Remove them all and then reboot. The computer will restore them back for you.

Visit website of your mother board manufacture or you can also visit of your audio driver if you know which driver your are using. If your using realteck drivers then visit http://relteck.com.tk
download the latest version drivers. And install them.

download the Driver Wizard.. install it and it will tell what kind of sound card you have.. go www.driverguide.com, create an account and search for a driver..

reinstall audio driver from your motherboard CD... if you dont have motherboard CD, check the manual and search the drivers from internet for your operating system
