I think anyone with a young team now... A lot of teams will have to revamp beforehand due to retirement and players simply ageing out... It seems to take a while for a new team to "gel"
Germany for instance has a lot of 21 year-olds on the squad that won bronze. After 2002 they had to totally revamp because so many players retired. Such a young squad that did so well in 2006 would be that much more mature and experienced in 2010. It's hard to tell who will emerge until the groups in the group stages are announced
If anything it's obvious you can't tell who will emerge from Euro to World Cup, Greece won Euro but didn't even make the World Cup.
But I would like to see Turkey back again in 2010, they were so cool in 2002.

Germany is.
Coz they have many young players who perform well in this World Cup and looking like they're gonna have bright future.
Imagine in the next 4 years, what a contender Germany will be!!
All these kinda 'unexperienced' young stars will be older and have more experiences and skills (..thinking on the bright side)!!Deutschland for sure

Well it is in South Africa and South Africa didn't play in the 2006 world cup, so I think they stand a very good chance to win the 2010 world cup if Nelson Mandela is still alive...

Well I want Azzurri to win it again. Should that happen they will not only be tied with Brazil but also have defended the World Cup twice. meaning they won it in 34 and then won it again in 38, 82 they won it again. and now 06 and hopefully defend the title in 2010.

brazil! look at the history. brazil always had some ups and downs. they lost n would come back to win the title again next tournament. i think thwy will be back 2010 n win this!!

Germany... As they'll have more experience by that time. There were to many youngsters in their team in this worldcup. The only problem they'll have in next worldcup will be a world class keeper. Hopefully they'll train one by that time.
