My sisters friend who im also close to introduced me to a guy friend of hers. He seems like a real nice guy. I recently got out of 5 year relationship and so has he. I only known him for a week. Is it too soon to start dating?

What does your heart tell you? Are you emotionally ready for another relationship? If you are, then go for it. If you aren't, well then maybe you should wait a little while. But nevertheless, do what your heart tells you. Good luck.

Personal choice. Being that you both have just gotten out of long relationships,it may be best to wait to make sure if there are feelings involved that they are real and you 2 are not just on the rebound.

Dating doesn't necessarily mean having a relationship with him.. If you like this person and his company then it's not bad to go out with him and have some fun..Meet him first , i mean get to know him better what kind of person he is.. and dont rush to create a relationship with him.. However is not early or late to go on a date if you like..
