someone said (i think it was Plato), that by giving a thing a name, you give it substance. He said that, that being/thing was always meant to have that name, it is written in us that we should give it that name. This is my opinion: Names are important. they set us apart and bring us together. a horse is different from a human. a human is the unity of all human beings because they share the same appearance.
