when i switch on my pc, my display appears without the start panel.?

when i switch on my pc, my display appears without the start panel. Thus i can not use it because no programmes are showing.What can do?

If your anr using later versions of windows 2000, press Crtl+Alt+Del and select "task manager" in the window select the process tab, and delete any process except "explorer.exe".

OR in the window from file menu select new task, in the window poped up type "msconfig"
select the start up tab. disable all the process.
click OK. restart the system.
have you installed any antivirus, then uninstall the antivirus and reinstall the new version of it. then run the virus scan.

if your are using later version of windows 2000, then need to reinstall the OS.

>drive C at up there click view or edit you will see the folder option then click the hidden files to show up it would be that files is setting to hidden and if you don't want to hidden this you can right that file and click properties.
