Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands of all time...
Syd Barret just died which was definitely saddening as he was the subject of a lot of the groups songs (as you probably know a lot of Dark Side of the Moon, the Wall, and Wish You were Here were about or relating to him).

My favorite songs by the band are Time (this has my favorite guitar solo EVER in it), Comfortably Numb (another exceptional guitar solo), Another brick in the wall pt. 2 (of course, who doesn't like this song?), Young Lust, Brain Damage, Have a Cigar, Run Like Hell, Wish You Were Here, and Learning to Fly.

I LOVE David Gilmore (fave guitar player ever) and I just bought his new solo album...its pretty good I must say.

Anyone who doesn't listen to Pink Floyd is missing soooo much...they make my spine tingle :)
