To get pregnant, you must have sex on or around the 14th day after the first day of your last period.
To simplify:- if you get your period on the 1st July, you are most fertile on the 14th July and around that day.

This planet is overflowing with people because of women and girls who have *no* idea how their own bodies work.
You are fertile and can become pregnant the moment that an egg leaves your ovary if there are viable sperm cells swimming inside your Fallopian tubes.
You can become pregnant anytime after that up until the egg reaches the end of it's cycle and begins to breakdown along with the exposed lining of your uterus. This is called your menstrual cycle, or period.
Just because you're having your period doesn't mean you can't get pregnant though. It's possible that your period can come early before the egg is no longer viable. It's also possible for your ovaries to release more than one egg. That's how fraternal twins are created.

there is a very very low window of time when you cannot get pregnant through unprotected sex.
a women has her period. then the egg goes in her womb. where it stays for a while (it is still there and can still be fertilized even when the period is over)
a mans sperm can survive in a uterus for a week. the average time when it is safe to have unprotected sex is a 4 day window. the sperm can survive for 4 days and still impregnate the egg.
for most women (cept for a few) the window is to small for unprotected sex ever!!!

You can get pregnant at any time, as long as you are in childbearing years. Its more unlikely that you'll get preggy during your period, but it can still happen.

You can get pregnant at anytime...I got pregnant while i was on my period.
Go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and put in your period info and it will caculate when you will be fertile and ovulating.

no. you are more likely to not get pregnant if you were on your period. if you're not getting your period because you are on depo shot, then you wouldn't get pregnant.
