Just because someone does not believe abortion should be legal, it does not mean that their answer is based in religion ,although the most powerful arguments against abortion is found in a religious view. However there is also a Scientific explination. It is a fact that a child is a real human being from the moment of conception. They have everything, including their own blood type separate from the mother's. They have their own special DNA just like you and me, not connected with the mother's, which will make them the unique person they are, starting from coception until the end of the existence of their body. Everything about these tiny people, their gender, their eye color, the color of their skin, and hair, has already been predermined in the genes they have been given from coception, At only 2 weeks into their life as a human in the fetus stage of developement, the unborn child has fingers and toes, and sucks his or her thumb, and has a real heartbeat that the obstetrician can detect with a stethascope. All of these facts have been determined scientifically. So, you mean to tell me that the unborn child is not human? What is it then, and at what exact moment did it evolve into human? Could it be feline, or insect, or alien at conception, and then at at a certain point just all of a sudden it becomes human? Anyone with a brain would know that is totally rediculous.
Unfortunately the unborn human child"s inalienable right to life under the constitution of the United States is denied to these the smallest and weakest of our race just because they still need the protection of their mother's womb until they have grown big enough and strong enough to live outside of it. This violation of human rights is called Abortion. I also say it is discrimination based on their place of origin, that is living inside instead of outside their mother's body. Hey, even you began your life that way. Are you such a hypocrite that you would condem all human beings who are starting out life in the same way you did? So, millions of these vulnerable human beings have their lives exterminated before they are even born, just because they are not yet among the strongest of our race. Does that not smack at all of Nazi Germany? In Auswitch the unwated people were sent to the ovens and gas showers to die a terrible death. In the Abortion mills the unwanted children are brutally murdered in their mother's wombs.
I will explain how brutal. Most people don't realize the abortion process. One method is to inject a saline solution into the mother's womb. The baby is burned alive and is delivered dead with it's skin burned off. This method of abortion is usually done in the last trimester of the pregnancy, so it looks like a normal infant except dead and completely red all over.
Another method of abortion is where the doctor puts a sharp blade into the opening of the uterus and literally slices the baby into pieces. Then he vacumes out all the pieces of arms and legs and skull, etc. into a bucket; and afterward someone has to put all the pieces back together so as to be sure that none are left inside the mother which could cause her severe problems later if not done properly. When the pieces are put back together they look like a human baby (except very bloody), even though this method is usually done in the first two trimester stages of pregnancy.
The absolute worst and cruelest of the abortion methods is what is called "Partial Birth Abortion" (It should be called "Partial Birth Infanticide.") It is always done in the last month of pregnancy when the baby is full term and about to be born anyway. First the abotionist gives the woman a shot to induce birth. Then when the baby's head comes out, he sticks a pair of scissors into the back of the baby's neck and opens it. The abortionist then inserts a vacume into the baby's head and vacumes out its brains, at which point the head colapses and a dead full term baby is delivered. Tragically the baby usually screams at the point the scissors are shoved into its neck. This is an absolute atrocity and should never be allowed in a civilized society such as ours.
There is also the D&C where when the woman suspects she may have gotten pregnant after sexual relations, and the doctor scrapes the lining of her uterous to make sure that any fetus just attatching itself to it is detatched and expelled, They do D&C's after other forms of abortion as well to make sure that no pieces of the murdered baby remain in the uterous. Of course you will almost never be told the truth about the worst and maybe the most common methods of abortion but you do hear about some unbloody methods, and to the ignorant, seemingly benign methods like a pill. Nevertheless, these are also puting a baby to death and who's to say how much pain the unborn child feels.
I have documented reasons for mentioning that an unborn child experiences pain during its murder, even in the fetal stage. There have been experiments done on some aborted fetuses that were alive when expelled, even in the first few weeks of pregnancy. To prove that the fetus can hear and feel pain, they would ring a bell and then poke it with a pin. Each time it would recoil in pain. After doing that several times they would ring the bell and not poke it with the pin, and the fetus would recoil in anticipation of the pain. So, therefore there is a fetus that feels pain, has his very own blood type and a regular heart beat, he can hear, and he screams when a pair of scissors peirces the back of his neck, and you say he is not a real baby?
Now lets talk about the reasons abortion happens. It is not like what some people would have you believe, that a womans life is in danger. (That is a real reason in less than 1% of all abotions performed.) It is also not done often because of incest or rape, because pregnancies under those circumstances rarely occur. So what do we have left? All the most popular reasons for choosing abortion are selfish ones. They want to have unprotected sex but they don't want the resposibility of the consequences which is pregnancy. They don't want a baby right now because of a carreer or because it would hinder their lifesyle. The obstatrition said that it is a boy and you wanted a girl. The doctor says that the child might be born imperfect. The boyfreind doesnt want the baby. They are very young and are scared to tell anyone they are pregnant. These are very common reasons women have abortions and in the case of a scared teenager or the one where the baby's father skips out and leaves them alone, you can feel sorry for them but, still, none of these reasons are an excuse to murder an innocent child before he or she has a chance to live out their natural life.. And yes all of these excuses are selfish. What about all of the couples that want a baby and can't have one? If every baby that is aborted was instead adopted out, think of how many happy families there would be and we would not have innocent blood on our hands. But selfishness runs rampant. Some would rather see their baby aborted before they would let some else raise it.
What would you think if your mother chose tohave a abortion? You wouldn't think. You would be dead.
Remember Roe vs. Wade? Well Jane Roe,( the one that started the whole thing because she wanted an abortion, and was granted that right when the outcome of her case legalized abortion), has now become a pro=life activist. She says now that she was wrong then and regrets everything, because she too, knows the truth and will spend the rest of her life trying to help reverse it.There was an abortionist that performed more than 50,000 abortions before he, too realized that it was so wrong, and he spent all the money he earned doing abortions to document the attrocities uf abortion and has spent years writing books on the subject, and doing the lecture circuit to get the truth out.
As for Planned Parethood, they are the bigust abortion indusry in the world. They bring in billions of dollars every year by killing babies, so why would they tell the truth. They don't, bottom line.

Well for one i think all women knows what happens when they go for an abortion.
It is every woman's right to choose. Maybe they have chosen abortion for the same reason you did. No one knows what every woman's situation is when they go and have an abortion.
Maybe they were raped or maybe something was bad wrong with the baby and it would have to suffer anyhow but then again a baby could cause a mother to die...These are some reasons why people have abortions.
I don't think that it is murder cause if it was i don't think there would be any abortion clinics at all.
If someone is mentally and uncapable of having a baby then they shouldn't be having sex in the 1st place.
There would be less abortions if people would
1.Take birth control pills, shot, patch, iud, or even get their tubes tied.
2.Just don't have SEX.... (It is so easy to say NO)
3.Use spermicide
4.Use male and female condoms
I think people needs to be educated on birth control first then just maybe their would be a decrease in abortions.
But like i said "every woman has the right to choose"

Adoption is always the best answer. Unfortunately, the choice is still available and probably more for mother's who have been raped or could die if they carried to full term.
I too am against abortion as a way out or as a means of birth control. Parents just need to step in and teach their children to be careful instead of shunning sex, since that only makes is more appealing; in addition teach their children to value all life, whether it is smaller than a pea or not.
If your parents were more open with sex and pregnancy, would you have made the same decision you made? If you would have looked at a tree or flower and understood that there was life in something that seemed so insignificant, would you have seen your unborn child the same way? I am not saying this to shun your past but honestly if you had those concepts you probably wouldn't have made the same choice you did.
I live in Nevada, do you think that because prostitution is legal here...I would let my children think it was ok? Society needs to take a stand by equipping our children with what it takes to make better decisions in life, even as teens. We can't always change the laws but we can have the respect of our children.
I have always thought, we should be infertile until we can pass a test (just like Adam Corolla has always said), but that would inevitably lead to taking away all of our rights. It is hard to realize and accept that it is sick world that we live in, but we do.

First off it has been said that it is not murder to have an abortion because the baby has not been born. I believe that anything that has a heartbeat is alive and anytime a pregnant mother goes for a sonogram, it also involves checking the baby's HEARTBEAT. Therefore having an abortion is murder. I have questioned why these young parents are allowed to have their babies instead of putting their babies up for adoption untill they are mentally and financially stable. Almost every story on the news here lately about child abuse involves couples 25 and younger, mostly mother and boyfriend, few husbands and wives. My wife and I are 23 years old and we have four children, sometimes we do struggle financially but never to the point where are children are at risk. We dont regret having our children they are a joy in our lives and gifts from GOD. We are young and have a big family, we are also blessed. GOD BLESS!

Abortion is a really really tough issue for me and I think if anyone is very strong on either side they are probably overlooking good points. Both sides make some good points but ultimately in most cases I'm pro-life. Just from life experience everyone I know who got an abortion did it for totally selfish unjustifiable reasons of convenience. My best friend (guy) and his GF had 2 in high school and still used the pull out method. At the same time that shouldn't ruin it for those who really need it. I do think there are rare situations (like rape) when it's at least justifiable. It's tough. But you're right, it's very hard to use objective reasons to support pro-choice. My best argument I guess is "if it can't survive outside the womb it's not life." But that argument can be torn apart.

I have yet to meet anyone who has had an abortion for any reason other than selfishness and as a form of birth control. I get really tired of hearing women say "I was too young...I couldn't take care of my baby." "I was broke." "I wasn't ready to be a mother yet." Those are NOT valid reasons to have an abortion, in my opinion. How do you KNOW you can't take care of a baby at 17 or 18? So what if you're broke...there are programs to help poor women/men raise their child until they get on their feet and can support the baby, financially. How do you KNOW you weren't mentally ready to handle raising a child? A woman changes the minute she gives birth...nothing else matters anymore. Your first, number one priority is your baby, and nothing and noone will come between you and him.
Yes, abortion is murder, and yes, too many (most?) women use it as the easy way out.

I totally agree with you.
However, I do believe in abortion if, and ONLY if there is absolutely NO possibility that the child will live through out the pregnancy. And the only reason I do is because I can't imagine a mother being told that their baby is dying and there is nothing they can do, and the only thing to do is either deliver a dead baby or have an abortion.
I've actually lived through that, and I didn't have the abortion, but seeing my child born dead, and she didn't even grow any bigger than she was when they told me, nearly destroyed me.

Abortion is wrong and if an individual has had one and then realizes their mistake and changes then they need to be forgiven and need to forgive themselves.
As for showing the truith. ALL medical patients are to be told the truith of the procedure that they are going to have. The abortion industry has gotten around this and has even lied about the possible consequences of having an abortion. This is sad and were it another medical professional they would be open to a lawsuit.
As for adoption, there are individuals who are paying as much as $50,000 to get a child. Any child.

if women were shown the truth of abortion, 99% of all abortion doctors would be out of business, and do it illegally. Most of the time those sites dramatize the truth in order to scare women anyway. The mortality rate of women would increase also.
