That's a silly generalization, and can only apply in lop-sided relationships. "Most men" in question don't do the shopping, therefore are not confronted with options of buying things the way women are. However, I have witnessed men wanting to buy a plasma screen TV that they have absolutely no space for.
Give up the stereotyping, it doesn't hold water.

Dude - do you really not spend money - that is sad. Men and women offen have different ideas about what money is for and I would suggest you need a girl who you can have honest conversations about money. Remember it is always good to keep some money around for a rainy day - but don't act either that every day is a raining day. Money is there to help you enjoy life and there is nothing wrong with enjoying life as well :).

I don't think it's "Women" it's the person. I know that i'm so much more cheat than my husband. I'm the one always say no we don't need this or can that wait. I don't know i think it's the person. Also if you let someone do that from the start get them things all the time or what not. then that becomes a given. Big mistake men. I'm not saying don't get them things just don't go nuts!

that is so not true. i know men can spend too. especially men are usually poor money keeper. when they don't have, they spend small but on unnecessary things. they don't consider that spending but they never realise every dime counts. i know saving cus i am an accountant.

Men spend money as much as women do. it all depends on the person. somepeople spend because they want, other spend because of what they need.

Not all women spend spend spend.. It's the other way round in our house, my husband spends it and I save it..

Men can be just as bad of spenders as women, what's the old saying.....the only thing different between men and boys....is the cost of their toys!
