hi Graham its not the Grande coz thats wot i thought it was..its the face-lifted version, the shape between the common old punto & the Grande....sorry, can u help?!!

I would call it a Mk 2 facelift.
The Mk1 was the original (1993 to 1999).
The Mk2 was 1999 to 2006, with a facelift in 2003.
The 2003 model was only a facelift, so to me that isn't a new Mk.
A new Mk needs to be a new car (completely new body, new interior, possibly a new platform) in my mind.
The "Grande" Punto is the Mk 3 to me.

Its called a grande punto, much larger that previous puntos and the third generation so I guess a Mark 3, so much better than marks 1 and 2 and great styling by guigaro, - impress tham all and tell them it looks like the front of a Maserati!

i think it is the mk4 yours looks like it is the newer one just before the grande punto hope this helps you out

i have grande, it has lights like masseratti :))) never heard of graham in europe tho
