no, there is not...we all take chances in love -- sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't... but, if you do NOT love to keep pain OUT, then you also DO NOT LET LOVE IN...

You can't avoid heart breaks, but it hurts less when you're not married and don't have to sort through the financial aspects of a breakup. When you really think about it, is there a reason to be married unless you have children to raise or you want children? Marriage doesn't guarantee fidelity, it doesn't guarantee financial success, or anything else for that matter.

Don't get married without a pre-nuptuial agreement. See an attorney for that and it will help you with any heartbreaks that you may have. Financial and legal heartbreaks cause more problems than "love" heartbreaks. Just turn on COPS on tv or American Justice or even some stupid judge show on tv.

Happiness without heartbreak is not guaranteed in life. It is a choice that you have to take. After all, life is a chance with no guarantees. That's why it's called living.

If it weren't for the heartbreaks, we'd never truly learn about love and grow. Marriage is hard, it's a job like anything else, it takes work, determination and time to make it worth while.

The alternative....living together and being free to leave at will with no strings attatched.

I'd rather have a good fight learn from it and great make-up sex with my husband!

I would say that "Better " is the operative word. What suits you best is important. Fitting in with socially acceptable relationships is commonplace: if you want alternatives, think outside the box. Marriage is but one way to share lives, explore others.

As long as you are in a love relationship be it marriage or out of wedlock, you will have heart breaks. If you don't want to be hurt, don't love the opposite sex.
