Why do some wooden Thomas trains have stripes and some don't?

I bought one without stripes, but of course my son wants one with stripes!

You need to ask at the toy store where you got them. They are very valuable pieces, and can be exchanged.

Since you have the ones with no stripe, it is easy to paint, or use colored sticky tape to add the stripes. You can buy the supplies at the train and model shop.
