underground hip hop is more intelligent. it's about more than just how much money or drugs or pussy they have.
the beats and production are usually more interesting with underground hip-hop. as a side note, thinking of how much money lil' jon makes with his fruity loops beats that took him a minute and a half to program makes me sick.
underground is just better.
