Common people vs Terrorism?

I am deeply pained by bomb blasts that occured in Mumbai and Srinagar in India.
I want to know how can we, the commoners, do our bit so that such events do not occur again?

the bomb blasts in mumbai's local trains and shrinagar were shocking events.. and now i feel tht no place in this world is safe anymore.... only thing tht we, as common ppl, can do now is to be alert.. like check for abandoned packages or bags not only in trains and buses but wherever we go and if there is anything suspicious abt them.. immediately report it to police or the concerned authorities.this is the only way we can prevent such incidents..and in case of such incidents try to help the ppl in trouble because its the local ppl who can reach them before any authority or police.. and not to spread rumors in such situations..and of course.. pray for world peace..i am really happy with the attitude mumbaikars have.. .mumbai has the capacity to resume very fast.. after the bomb blasts on 11/7 .. the next day.. the western railways were working and most of the trains were packed as ever... one message that i would like to share with everyone (especially after this incident) haso, gayo, muskurao, aaj ke liye jeeo...kya pata ...kal ho na ho! these are the lines from the movie kal ho na ho .. so enjoy every moment in your life.. !!

If you see or hear something do not hesitate to inform the police. Carry on after such a ghastly attack with your normal activities. That is the BEST way to show the terrorists that THEY HAVE LOST. Thier cowardly acts of leaving explosives behind to kill us is the act of cowardice. The real bravery is in carrying on like all the Bombayites have done today by going to schools, colleges and work.

I am not defending the terrorists with what I am about to say. As long as holy lands are occupied it will never stop. We have to stop supporting Israel and we have to remove our military bases from Saudi Arabia. As citizens in a democracy we are being held responsible for what our leaders decide. We need to vote for people that are not warmongers and if you are in the U.S. that means vote third party.

By being aware of what is going on around you. We all need to realize that the world has lost some of it's innocence, assuming it every had any, and that it is necessary to be observant and even suspicious. Those who know terrorists must be willing to turn them in too. Afterall, they all have families, friends, neighbors, etc..

Dont give into terrorists demands. And realise that keeping your freedoms is worth the rarity of sacrificing civilians lives and that it will eventually end.

You outnumber them greatly, do all you can to ignore them i think.

i think the people should of check the train before the people board and after the people board so they can assure no bomb is on the train. the bomb could of been placed on the train the night before.
