Abdullah/Mohammed for Muslims, Tan and Lee for Chinese. Smith for Englishmen.

I think Mohammed is the most common, in all its' variations: Muhammad, Mehmet, Mohamat etc

Alot of people have the last name of Brown where I live, more than Smith which I thought very odd, I mean there was like 5 pages for just Brown.

Depends on the country and Sex which we are referring, it could be Smith, Patel,Sinha, Johnson, Brown, Chang etc.,

patel it used to be smith in england but I think patel has over taken that and its not an english name
