The Dana Type 70rear axle is for light trucks.
4.10 means that the pinion gear has 10 teeth and the ring gear has 41 (ratio 4.10 to 1).

For a truck, this would be a good gear for all-around driving. It is not the best for pulling stumps, nor the best for highway driving.
