Yes it is. The chef and I spoiled a breakfast because the customer had make one of the waitresses leave in tears the night before.
NEVER upset the staff that are serving you unless you are sending your food back and don't want it replacing or unless there is something obviously wrong with your food.

I don't know! But I've heard of friends who are waitresses when someone they usually dislike they'll do it. Its normally a thing built on a past situation could be revenge, past relationships. No one can be sure they'll not spit in there food! So be careful!

There was a show in the states called Caught on camera or something like that and there were several clips of cooks spitting on the food or worse. I would suppose there are mean spirited poeple out therer who would do something nasty like that but we can only hope that they would think twice. A lot of things are carried in the saliva that could really harm someone.
Makes you not want to eat out though doesn't it? Then where would these wretches be? Unemplyed.

ok.. spit is the most suitable element i'm worried about... ever see the action picture waiting? many stuff that I discovered from that action picture, one being in no way go in proper earlier ultimate time, which they hate, and that i know it sucks even as there is two minutes to go and some a hollow is going in and needs some food.. its like.. go living house! yet yeah anyhow, strive against club too. so i'm paranoid. nicely even extra so.

I worked at P.F Changs for about six months and in that time I only saw it happen a few times. Usually, because there was some pompous moron out on the floor who thought that making a scene would let everyone know how refined he was.

i have seen a waiter do this, they only do it to annoying customers, you know ones that moan, there is noe excuse for it. but imagine being a waiter and waitress, doing your job as best as you can and getting moaned at by people that think they are higher and better than you.

I used to be employed by an organisation that inspected hotels (in the UK) and I can promise you that it is more than spit that at times may be deposited in your food.
So dont piss off the waitress or chef

I heard a story how some women went to a local pizza place and were rude to the guy taking their order. Well they were served their pizza and after they finished the guy that took their order went to their table and claimed to have put is own "special white sauce" on the pizza. This came from a personal friend, not just a rumor.

Im a waitress and I never have but there has been occasions where I would have liked to. Customers need to realise that this the way we make a living, we are not scum, and we have bad days too. Bigger tips more often would be appreciated too
