I think at this stage still over 6 months out, Australia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are looking the best prepared.
England were looking much stronger 12 months ago, but a disasterous run of injuries have really already ruined their chances.
India's series loss to the Windies, has shown their too inconsistant, despite imeasurable talent in their line up.
The Windies will be strong at home, but still really lack enough world class players.
New Zealand will be tough, but ultimately do not have good enough bowlers to get the whole way through.
South Africa will be semi-finalists, but also probably just not quite enough class.
Canada, Bangladesh, Bermuda, Netherlands, Ireland, Kenya, Scotland and Zimbabwe will all struggle to win any matches, except against each other.

In 2002, i declared that Windies would win this world cup, and i stick by it.
It is going to be interesting
Australia will be there, England if they can put out their 'A' team (Simon Jones is their 'A' team, probably the second most important bowler in world cricket - Shane Bond is number one)
Sri Lanka look like they can put a team together
I do not think India and Pakistan can put a team together to win the thing
South Africa have no chance, as do Zimbabwe, Kenya, Bangladesh
New Zealand always play above themselves at world cups (semi's in 92, quarters in 95 (knocked out by australia), 99 beat australia in pool play, 2003 could have made a run if they played in kenya, and had beat australia after bowling them out for 180.
(yes, i am a kiwi)
Australia, England, West Indies or Sri Lanka will win the thing

It's gonna be real tight, you can't say for sure. Australia are still world leaders, but I strongly believe that they won't be able to stand up all the way. You can see teams like England (defeated AUS in the Ashes) developing with KPietersen and Flintoff taking the lead, South Africa has also proven themselves in that world record runs match and India is nowhere behind, with all they players right back in form, and with new captain Dravid, and Coach Chappell, India is also right in the fight! The West Indians proved that even they could do something.
So this would be a real tight WC!!
