Could be a migraine, or even a sinus infection. Regardless of what kind of headache it is, if over the counter pain relievers aren't working, and sleep isn't helping either, go get it checked out by a doctor. Most migraines even go away after a day or so. The fact it's been constant pain for so long is a bit unnerving. If it's an infection of some kind, a doctor can treat you and hopefully you can get some relief in another day or so.

It sounds like posssibly a sinusitis, or 'eye problems' or other infection in the head. The pain from one source, like even an infected tooth root, or wisdom teeth, can spread to cover other areas of the head. As the neck is not involved, unlikely to be inflammtion within the brain., so lower down on the list of possibilities. What else is going on in your life? That can lead to headaches. Constipation can contribute also. Are you sleeping well? Or are you feeling down? That can cause headaches. Any recent medicine changes added or taken away? Some illnesses can start that way, like auto-immune diseases, Hope you find relief soon. I find cool on my forehead can help sometimes.

I have migraines that last for a few days at a time...my vision is affected - it feels like the worst headache you have ever had.

If I have a bad one, light hurts my eyes, I have to be in a quiet dark room, and sometimes I throw up at the peak of the headache. Try Excedrine migraine - but I would go into a doctor or at least call a clinic if you have had this 5 days...

I have seasonal allergies, and whenever my sinuses act up, I feel a lesser version of what you seem to be going through. My guess is that you have a sinus infection. If that's the case, you're going to need antibiotics because regular sinus medication is not going to clear it out. Go to a doctor immediately if you don't want to get worse.

If you have long hair, cut it off....it could solve all your problems. Long hair can cause anything from neck pain to severe migraines. If you have short hair, then I'd get a CAT scan right away. It could be a broken blood vesel in your brain and you could have a stroke or even worse...an annuryism could kill you....I'm a nurse. Get to a doctor or an emergency room.

I don't know what it might be; but if you massage your forehead in the center pushing where your eyebrows and your nose meet it should alleviate the pain until it goes away. Just keep massaging that spot when ever you feel the pain.

If it continues speak to a pharmacist they may help you.
