It's natural. Don't worry, just try to keep up and do the assigned work. You can still talk about fashion and stuff but be sure to allot some time to other activities around the world.

And what, you want to sound intelligent? Sorry, but the only way you can do that is to brush up on a little academic knowledge. Reading a dictionary can expand your vocabulary but it's useless unless you know how to use those words in relation to what you already know. Go on and study hard my friend!
Obviously the guy above me is not the one to listen to, especially seeing as he thinks that a lot can be one word. Sorry but things like that really annoy me. No offence.

Watch the news once in a while. Learn a new fact once in a while, something odd or unsual.
It's the worst when you're talking to someone and they ahve no clue what you mean by anything. If you don't know about something, don't fear to ask. Most of the time, people are willing to explain or tell you things.

Relax. You only get judged on what you say. If that isn't your strong part, just stay quiet and smile. Everyone will assume you are a sage.

You're either possessed of an erudite wit or not. You can't learn it.
