Yes, i am even if i am standing in a building looking out of the windows, donno why, nothing to do with family background, since from young, very afraid of travelling on plane too, i had to PLAN a long time b4 going for the trip on plane. But had eventually be slightly better now after i've move to a new apartment that was 16 storey high.
Really can't explain why, if anyone could just enlighten me.

Yes I m very much scared of height.Why I don't know. I think there is nobody in our family who is scared of height. So it is not due to genes.

I werent afraid of heights when i was younger. I even love taking rides when i was young. Now that I m 30, i realise i m actually afraid of heights. I dont dare to take rides anymore, i cannot look down from a tall building. And my knees goes weak when i walk down a spiral staircase with no supporting handle. Not sure why some and why dont. But i dont think genes has got anything to do with it.

In a secure situation (in a tall building etc.), I don't think most are scared of height ... I am not .... However, I think more people are really afraid of falling to their deaths ... and I doubt it's genetic, rather, I think it's based in personal experience ...

i am not scared of height. it just because they become scared that if they jump they will die.

I don't think that it is really being scared of height.
I think it is more of being scared of falling to their death
