People are never born gay. That's the dumbest theory I've ever heard of. It's probably starts out as a rebellious thing, or maybe they're exposed to it and it sticks with them. There are a million reasons, but being born that way is absolutely not one of them. It's a completely reversible, psychological disorder. Much like quitting smoking, it's a difficult thing to quit, so most gays are just too lazy, or don't have the willpower to overcome the disorder, so they just don't even try. Being gay is completely UNnatural.

In response to satire76, the end of the world thing doesn't make any sense at all. There were majorly gay socities back in ancient times such as ancient Greece, Rome, etc. It was a lifestyle choice back then. Since there was such rampant, open homosexuality then, why didn't the world end hundreds of years ago??

Generally they are born that way. It's not a matter of choice like some of the lesser educated (probably religious) people have answered. I'm not sure about situation of extreme trauma that may make them say fear a woman in a relationship but I don't think that they would then gravitate to men, just fear women is all. Just like heterosexual people are interested in women, gay men are interested in men. Ask a man why he is interested in women and not men. They will say something like well their breasts are attractive. And then ask them why that is. “Well…they just are” may be the extent of their response. It's because it's built in to the structure of your brain at birth. It's been found that the more children a woman has the greater chance of each younger sibling being gay increases. Incidentally some gay groups state that 10% of men are gay and it’s actually more like 3%. There are other genetic/chemical/hormonal causes:

I think that if you got the parents of 100 random gay men into the same room, you would see some stark similarities between them -- a lot of overbearing mothers and ineffectual fathers and other interesting personality traits in their more graduated or extreme forms.

I think that if you managed to get 100 random gay men to put down the politics of being gay for a moment and inquired about their early sexual experiences, you'd definitely find a much higher incidence of sexual abuse than among straight men.

These are not just opinions; it's been done repreatedly and turned out as suggested.

Boys are not born gays. Gay fathers do not sire gay boys. It is entirely a misconception that genetics has something to do with being gay. Being gay is a very complex pattern of behavior as this is being categorized into homosexual forms such as covert, transvestism, transsexualism, cross-dressing or any other forms of being gay. Factors such as matriarchal dominance environmental challenges, female dominated-environs and gay-related sexual activities play a key role in turning out boys to become gays. Homosexual tendencies are common in boys that are considered weak or effeminate at an early age and later developed when they reached puberty and this leads to their orientation of "phallic worship" or the desire for sexual encounters with the same sex.

Well some people has attributed this to be a medical problem whereby some parts of the brain is not functioning well and that it is upsetting the hormonal balance in the body....some people say its due to childhood traumas and psychological imbalance....well i call it nature's way of telling us its the end of the world soon.... when all things become gay...they stop propogating and die off...

First of all, try to disregard FRENNA'S ridiculously uneducated and bigoted response. I'd say most gay people (not "gays") are born with their sexuality...much like straight people. Some MAY chose to go in that direction, but I am willing to be that it's already a part of who they are. I hope this helps. Trust me, though, it's really not a choice.

Becuz the culture has brainwashed them into believing that gayness is acceptable behavior and a viable alternative lifestyle. They think it might be cool or exciting to be gay, so they go for it. They suppress any heterosexual tendencies they may have, becoming confirmed gays for life.

There's many reasons like genetic disorder, psychological experience, or even sexual experimentation. Even tho we mostly associate gays with guys, but girls does more sexually gay activities, and we're OK with that.
