International SMS'es?

Hey all, can someone please tell me how to send an SMS from South Africa to the USA? I have the cell number and the code, but it doesn't want to go through... :-(

Ask the network operators (MTN, Vodacom or Cell C) to activate ur phone

You have to get onto your sim provider and ask if your phone is set up for sending and receiving international calls and sms. The customer service dept will talk you through it.

Also - although you have the Country code and number - here in the uk for instance we have to drop the first digit - Im sure all countries have their own rules.
