This is a quote of one of the ministers (Roberto Calderoli) of the exiting fascist Italian Government.
The traduction is :
"The victory in Berlin is a victory on our Identity, of a team who was made of Lombards, Napolitans,Vénitians and Calabrais who won against a team who abandonned their identity by puting in their team Blacks, Islamists and communists to obtain results"

Their major clubs are going town to 2nd and 3rd division starting now, more than half of the players of the team has problems with the justice, they like to do the nazis sign for their fans when they score...
"Forza Italia" is also the name of their fascist party...brrr
What do you think of that?

These are the words of a minister = so SAD. And isnt it strange this is coming from a country that holds rallies against blacks and muslims and all the immigrants. this is from a country that burned down a Jewish Cemetary. there is racist people in every country. In Italy, In France everywhere. BUt unless your slate is fully clean you sholuld not accuse others.
By the way lets talk about what really happened.
Zidane was running his mouth like he always does. He is also known to be a hot head. Having received 12 previous red cards and having also received 6 week suspensions twice (this is a very long suspension in football) One of these was actually stiumping on the head of a pleyer that was laying helplessly on the ground.
Now. during the whole game the two wer exchanging words. Materazzi was of course pissed off because he did not even touch Malouda and he dived (although the Italians were being accused of this prior to the game) and Zidane converted this cheap PK. Then Zidane was pissed off because Materazzi is the player that scored and he was also marking Zidane very tight and rough and it was making him frustrated.
Finally. In the last parts of the exchange. Zidane said (after Materazzi puiled his jersey) You like so much I will give it to you after we win the match. And Materazzi replied by saying I rather take it off your wife.
Now. This is an exchange that can happen on any playing field. Playuing pick up football or basketball, between enemies or even friends or acquaintances. But Zidane lost his head. This verbal abuse, or any verbal abuse for that matter does not justify a physical response. If you think that it does then go start hunting down people that piss you off in this forum. Or go fight against the whole world.
World cup is over. Italy won and that is that.

I think discriminations of all sorts still exist in the world. The problem is we should not take it as a norm and think it is nothing. It could something that will exist in the world no matter how hard we try. However, we can minimise the impact of it somehow, by changing our mindset about it first.

As a politician and leader, he needs to watch his words, as people are seeing him as a figurehead of some sort. Italy might not be such a country of discrimination, BUT because he represents Italy, what he says do have weight, that will make us think otherwise of the country.

Just like Zidane, whom I respect alot. For many emotional reasons he might have, what he does certainly has an impact as he somehow represents the 'meaning' or 'spirit' of soccer.

Anyway, the world is borderless which is why we should be equally respected. Human are the ones that created the dividers of the map to break us all apart. Therefore we have to take the effect of this cause we planted.

I think they must live in a society where the average person is unable to follow their own dream, so instead, to achieve some significant purpose, they buy into someone else's dream, or nightmare in this case.

The Bible states: Where there is no vision, the people parish.

What they need is a society that allows them to go after a worthy ideal for their own self satisfaction, and they won't feel the need to instead follow after the psychopaths of history.
