I don't know where it came from but it means you can't force someone to do something they want to do. They'll do it on there own.

u cant force the willing as rape is sex by force

I believe it was used as a defense in a case years ago when a hooker claimed she was raped.she won.the attourney who was representing the guy who raped her soon afterwards bacame a prosecuter..

It's just an expression. Who knows where it came from? It just means that you can't take advantage of someone that's willing to give you whatever it is you are wanting. It's common sense.

rape is a sexual act without the consent of the other person so if they give their consent then it can't be rape

Probably originated during the 1800's when lots of our modern phrases did.

My Grandma used to always say she didn't believe in rape "Cause a girl can run alot faster with her dress up than a boy can with his pants down!" ...used crack me up.

idk where it came from but i use it n to me at least it means that u can't force someone to do something if they're already willing to do it...
