yeah im gay and i just want someother gay dudes to hang out with i've been trying to make some but they all ended up getting weird when ever i dont want to have sex or do sexual acts with them... all i really want is to meet some new friends that i have a simluar interest with gay... yes i am gay too but im wtih someone... is it really so difficult to make friends... :( how the **** do make friends that dont want to ****?

If you live in a big city, go find a gay and lesbeing cultural center. Generally, you'll meet gay guys there who won't be interested in having sex with you. Other options - gay softball league, gay rugby club, gay political clubs, etc., etc. If you're meeting guys on gay dot com or in bars, it's no wonder all they want to do is shag, that's what those places are for.

It's easy all you have to do is relax about it all. There are more people out there then you know. The biggest problem I had was using the word 'gay' because if you, for example, go out on the 'gay scene' then alot of the time the relationships you form there will be based on sex, drugs and drink. However what you need to do is be clear with why you want to be friends as oppose to anything else, There are loads of venues on line from gaydar to LGBT support groups, it just depends exactly what you want. The main thing is enjoy being who you are and like minded souls will find you or you them without you even having to try.

As a lesbian, I do understand! I find that NOT meeting people in bars helps a lot. Attend gay events as much as possible. Also, tell the friends you have now that you are interested in meeting other gay people to hang with. Everybody knows somebody!
