Is all that violence really necessary? Can't the Muslims and Hindus sit down and discuss their differences?

This is not Riot between Hindu and Muslim.
I repeat this is not caused by the controversies between Hindus and Muslims. This is some thing else. Muslims here may be minority and used to be deprived by Hindus earlier days. In last 25 years the situation is not like that. No one underestimates Muslims any more. In fact since last 25 / 30 years not many people here are bothered about religion.
All these problems and issues are being created by our great politicians.
There is no apparent problem between India and Pakistan. I am from India. I have many friends in Pakistan. There is absolutely no fight among us. I think there is no fight between Manmohan Singh and Musharraf. Our leaders are very much in friendship with the leaders in Pakistan.
The reason for the fight is both the leaders do not want this fight to be resolved. They are like beggars in the railway station who suffers from dangerous blisters. They do not cure the blister as if it is cured they will not be able to find and excuse for begging.

You could ask that question about 9/11, 7/7, and the myriad of bombings around the world where innocent civilians are killed by terrorists. The answer is that they don't deserve it. Unfortunately there are people in the world who believe that violence is the only way to achieve their goals.

the thing about terrorists is that they are extremists of one area of thought or another. As such it is impossible for the majority of the world to understand why these people do anything, since their belief system is so radically different to all others. Also, like what is being said in the israeli/palestinian war, these are issues which have been going for ages, there is too much blood shed to be resolved overnight between a cup of tea and some oreos.

Terrorists are everywhere and they were really quiet for long time in India especially in & around bombay, so to make their presence felt & to show that they are still very active in India ,they have done this cruel thing......
Also i would like to comment on Mr Imran that whatever he has written is rubbish.Muslims are treated very well in India than in other countries.Indian President Abdul Kalam is a Muslim, He is also Indias no.1 scientist. there is no hatred for them,but terrorists cant understand this.They are bull headed.They just want to spread terror.

Well I really don't know. But I think that since 7 bombs were implanted in the commuter train and were blasted by terrorists, the terrorists just want to show and cause trouble to indian government.

They were the 'soft' target for terrorists to prove their 'presence'.
But, one more aspect... Really few cities in the world can boast of such courageous CITIZENS ! They bounced back (not limping back) to NORMALCY within an incredibly short time. The trains as usual(thanks to dedicated railway team), and crowd too back in train 'as usual'. So the Mumbaikars(Bombay people called thus), really have offered something to the WORLD to learn from them ! Spontaneous ALL OUT help from fellow citizens in every way a human can be helped. A heart-moving scene !

Hindus thinks in india they are in majority and they want to crush Muslims, Is this freedom in Indian where minorities have to face these type of unpleasent incidents?
In U.S. there are 75% christen and 21% jews, and rest of them are belong to others nation. Everyone respects other nation people but sometimes administration of U.S. get more crazy on minorities such as sad mexican, phillipines, canadian and muslims but their people dont get crazy like the offical ones.
I think this is a bug in U.S. govt assssssss not in their nation's people but on the other hanad in India, the bug is in hindous's asssss not in govt assssss. I'm sad!!!!
