pc mic extension cord?

I just bought a headst/mic combo for the pc. It works fine, but won't reac to mic input and to external speaker input so I need to find microphone extension cord. Anyone know where to buy (in store or on web) so I can have this thing work?

assuming it is a standard monaural 1/8" plug...Radio Shack usually has extensions in stock or can at least get one for you.
