I've got hazel eyes, they're an amberish-golden light brown and a light green... I just wondered if anyone has any ideas on what eye make-up would look best... they are really big and almond shaped...

Violet or lavender works best with greenish eyes. Apply right on the crease of your lids. Use a black or dark brown liner on your lash line and smudge it with a q-tip or your finger and go over it with a shade of eye shadow that is close to the shade of your eyes. Apply a very small amount of liner on your lower lash line (NOT inside the lash line as it can make your eyes appear smaller!) Then take a white or cream irredescent shadow and sweep it accross your brow bone right below your eye brows. Also apply to inside corners of your eyes (by your tear ducts). Finish with mascara. Viola! Beautiful eyes!

Lucky you! For a really dramatic look plum eyeshadow makes green eyes look amazing (check out Debra Messing in the Wedding Date). To pull off that much contrast you need to keep the rest of your face subtle though.

try a color that is the opposite of the eye color, call your local cosmetic counter they will tell you if they are professionals, they will have a chart for that...otherwise, just go with a lighter color, and try not to wear those sparkly ones, unless you are a teenager!!! they just make you look like you are trying to be younger then you are!!!
