Xanth series- piers anthony
Wheel of time series - Robert Jordan
those two series are very good. Xanth consists of many books and is best read from the first (A Spell for Chameleon) on there are many subplots and major storylines and it is extremly humerous
and the wheel of time is a series that lie the lord of the rings you have to read in order or you will not understand anything. it deals with mystical objects. Magical people and the story of a man with a great destiny. the first book is(The Eye of the World).enjoy the read

Skip Courtney Love's biography, it fails to be inspiring at all except negatively, the poor dear.

The Magus, by John Fowles
Ender's Game, by Orson Scott Card
Ballad of the Sad Cafe, by Carson McCullers
In Watermelon Sugar, by Richard Brautigan - very lovely

First of all , "The end of faith" by Sam Harris. ( non fiction)
It is a very interesting book. It opens up your eyes to a reality that most people don't see as a problem. In my opinion it is easy to understand and it gives great arguments .

If you want to read a fictional book I highly recommend " The perfume" by Patrick Suskind.
It is a great story full of amazing details that take you inside the writer's world . It is an excellent book.

THE ALCHEMIST by Paulo Coelho

"When you want something, all the world conspires in helping you achieve it." this is one of the many inspiring quotes from the book. I often recommend this whenever someone asks me. It is a tale about of following your dreams, a novel that has delighted and touched my soul. Really simple and yet immensely moving, it is a treasure of wisdom and philosophical allegories. You might also want to check out other books written by Coehlo, and let your soul be influenced by it.

LOVE IN THE TIME OF CHOLERA by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

It is a masterpiece of a sensuous prose, something I could consider as a great living Spanish classic. It has quite an epic theme that embodies wisdom and patience of age. You might want to check it out and experience Marquez's magical realism.

Count of Montecristo by Alexander Dumas. The hero is Edmond Dantés, a young French sailor who, falsely accused of treason, is arrested on his wedding day and imprisoned in the island fortress of Château d'If. After staging a dramatic escape he sets out to discover the fabulous treasure of Monte Cristo and catch up with his enemies. A novel of enormous tension and excitement, Monte Cristo is also a tale of obsession and revenge, with Dantés, believing himself to be an `Angel of Providence', pursuing his vengeance
to the bitter end before realizing that he himself is a victim of fate. The author did a great job describing the emotions of the prisoner.Disbelief, denial, self pity, madness, apathy and finally hope. For God's sake don't see any of the movies based on the book. They don't do justice to the book.

I suggest reading The Time Travellers Wife by AUdrey Niffenegger (I think thats how you spell her name).

It is a wonderful story with a fantastic plot. It has humour, a heartwarming love story and humanity all in one. It is the best book i've read so far.
