Aliens are watching us and have been for many years. The reason that they have not openly contacted us is simple. They would be many thousands of years in advance of us as we are a comparatively young planet and system. This would mean that their technology would simply be stuff of science fiction to us or completely unimaginable. By watching us they would have found mankind simply arrogant and hostile. After all to hear some people talk its like a "if mankind and our science can't do it, it can't be done" attitude. Also, whatever causes a threat we blast into oblivion. So if the aliens openly showed themselves to the World with all this power and advanced technology what do you think would be the mass response? Destroy them? If this was the response they would have to defend themselves which could destroy mankind! Would you want to take that risk? Its better to observe and don't interfere.

If you walk by an ant hill and all the ants clearly recognized you and took effort to communicate with you, you bet your *** you would stop and pay more attention to them. Wouldn't you?
If aliens were simply passing by our planet on their way to a great restaurant at the other side of our galaxy they surely would notice all the (images, sounds, objects) our civilization is hurtling into the void. This would draw their attention. A few of them might, on occasion, swing by close enough to be see what all the fuss is about.
Of course, as one reply said, a simple look at our television signals, our radio broadcasts or even a brief survey of our society would drive them away. I think it's safe to say that our civilization, as it currently stands, would not react well to extraterrestrials dropping in on us. No matter what their intention.
I have no doubt that our civilization will evolve. In time the emotional and political impact that religions have on us will diminish and give way to more thoughtful, reasonable behavior. The people participating in this conversation, for example, clearly have an open mindedness to them that is narrowly (but openly) accepted. But for now, if "aliens" dropped in for a visit, it would shatter the very thin belief system that mankind has accepted for over 2000 years.
There is evidence in our ancient past to suggest a level of technology that is out of place. The extremely precise markings in the landscape of South America. The leaps in architectural, medical and engineering prowess of the ancient Egyptians, Mayans and other cultures at approximately the same period, but geographically different areas.
And then when did all these "marvels" stop? Seems to be right around the time Christianity took a foothold. I'm not blaming Christianity in particular. It could have been any religion that follows the same principals of fear, prejudice and distrust of different opinions that lead the "aliens" to stop visiting.
Who knows, if an entire religion would go to such great lengths to obscure all truth about it's own Savior, then perhaps "aliens" did still visit in the Dark Ages. Such blasphemous events would have been erased from the historical record. Extraterrestrials, by their very existence contradict the Creationism myth. As such, aliens would be likely seen as daemons or otherwise evil spirits and would be driven away, and stricken from the human consciousness.
The problem is, if they don't exist then why is there so much photographic evidence and testimonials to their presence. You do not see astronauts, airline and military pilots or credible (and seemingly sensible) people all over the world standing up to say that El Chupicabra is real, or that Bigfoot really does exist. Yet highly trained professionals from all walks of life and scientific pursuits have provided eyewitness accounts of spacecraft that are beyond our current technical advancement.
Sorry for rambling on, this topic is important to me, and I believe, ultimately to the furtherance of mankind. So I just had to say my peace. Thank you for reading (if you are still here).

By nature humans would like this to happen or atleast expect it if they were present. I believe contact has already been made, but is suppresed & controlled to the chosen few. Its painfully obvious the public have no benefit in knowing (personally yes it would be nice, pratically speaking no !). US & other governments would trip over themselves to reverse engineer alien artefacts, already acquired, then then redeploy as the new & latest technology (said to have been done already)
The idea sounds nice at first, but you'll find people will have difficulties moving forward in life, the public would lack motivaton, possible economic / social / religous meltdown, an overhanging endless threat & uncertainty. These are possible reasons why we are not told already ! (National security is there to protect us, as well as hide the truth). I dont mind being told that God & religion dont exist - not sure about how the rest of the world will take it - how about you ?
Its mankinds biggest secret, EVER, so far !

Extraterrestrials would not likely wish to contact the human race simply because we are violent and tend to fear that which we do not understand and destroy that which we fear. Until mankind sets aside our political, racial and religious differences and comes to understand that we are all HUMAN, any advanced extraterrestrial culture is more likely to let us continue to evolve.
One possible exception would be if an extraterrestrial civilization deems the human race a threat, they may seek to neutralize us before we get too far along. We could feasibly become a threat if we were to advance too quickly in space exploration and start flying to or colonizing planets outside our solar system before we have resolved our violent tendencies.
Evidence seems to point to the belief that we have indeed been visited by extraterrestrials throughout history. I would suspect that we have indeed been discovered, and as a scientist might study a bacteria in a petri dish, we are being studied.

Now what would we do if we found (possibly intelligent) alien life? On a planet several hundred light-years away? Nothing. Right now, we can do absolutely nothing to let others know of our existence (except maybe send a message that would take several hundred years to reach). Maybe aliens who've seen us have the same problem. It's much easier to find someone than to talk to them.

If aliens exist, then it is probably very likely they are not aware of our presence in this remote section of the galaxy. If they are so aware, then there is likely other reasons for their nonpresence. For example, the fact that the most powerful society on the planet has a "bomb first, ask questions later" policy in regards to other societies it encounters may give extraterrestrials pause before making their approach.

Have you realised how bloody huge the Universe is, it would take 56 million years travelling at the speed of light ( 186,000 miles per second) to cross the Universe and its expanding all the time.
Because the Universe is so big this means that aliens living on the other side of the Universe would never be able to reach us

Comparatively speaking, an alien life form passing earth can be compared to a human strolling past a large ant hill. Do we stop by, try to communicate with ants, try to help them, fix their ailments and give them advanced technologies? No, we don't give a squirt of goat piss about them, because we are a superior species in every way, so why would we care?
So if an advanced civilization from another planet reaches us, who's to say they would even recognize us as an intelligent species? An alien race could be, in fact, as superior to humans as humans are to ants. Outside of earning a pesky, needy neighbor, what would another intelligent species from another world have to gain by befriending us, outside of inheriting the problems we can't solve for ourselves?

It is a matter of your spirit and the call, if your subconsciuos is ready and not afraid, they will then show themselves to you.
In fact after the soon to be renewed earth and its transformation to a service to others only planet...aliens and humans will live in the open together
have you looked at zetatalk.com with an open spirit?
All is so clear.

Because that is not the rules of the game.....
Primary reason is there is no reason to do so.....
What on earth causes you to believe that the aliens that are commonly known as "greys" are not already in residency here ??
There is a galactic Supreme Being and He set rules eons back--they are granite--and we may dance on the edge of oblivion with the way we toy with rules--but to these entities it is not done !!!
