It's from a book called "Awareness" the author was trying to point out that notions of the past and future only exist in the present.

The universe took alot longer than 2 seconds to be created hence earth took 7 days to be created. Memories can't necessarily be created.

Actually, I can't, but if that happened, then none of the evidence means anything, because it indicates that the universe was created at least thousands of years ago. I don't accept the idea that the earth is very old, but I don't know about the universe. The point is, though, it's not practical to assume the universe was just created. You can't base anything on it: not your conclusions about what you observe, and not the decisions you make about your life.
