I always had problems with organic chemistry - mainly because its a very fast paced subject with alot of content - at my university anyway. However, like all things, if you put in a bit of effort and really study it should prove no major hurdle. My organic chem lecturer told us the other week that the "world class average for second year university organic chem classes" is about 36% - I don't know how accurate this is but I know my class of approx. 60 students had an average of 38%!!! - maybe he was trying to make us feel better

I have a B.S. in chemistry. To me the toughest course I ever took was physical chemistry.
