You should go back to the doctor! It takes up to 14 days to go away and can be excruciatingly painful. Your doctor should have sent you to the hospital.

It varies, you'll want to avoid moving your head quickly or hitting your head again for at least a month. Athletic commissions usually ban boxers and MMA fighters from any contact for a minimum of 3 weeks if they have sustained any serious head contact in a bout. Serious concussions lead to indeffinite suspensions. It shouldn't be permanent, I've been knocked out a number of times and the serious effects wore off quite quickly. Having a loss of control on your left side, however, is a serious problem and you should find out exactly why that's happening.

Go to a different doctor right away. Having cracked my skull more than once, I can tell you, these symptoms are not okay.

You may get over it soon but also may have a relaps of this as you get older.
