It's got some serious character, but I doubt it's useful for air exchange.

flukesonally, I think Owen Wilson's nose was a publicity stunt, probably got drunk with some buddies and got tired of being called fluke by drunk girls. I'll bet he snapped! I can play the conversation in my head like it actually happened..."That's IT. The hair gets bleached and the nose gets broke." I know Luke Wilson is the oldest, but they would look identical if it weren't for Owen's nose. They're both great actors..I love Owen's goofy personality and Luke's more down to earth puppy dog demeanor. Odd as this I can still remembering watching Zoolander for the first time in theatres and hating it so much that I walked out and asked to see a different movie. I saw it on t.v. a year later and since then it's been on my top 10 movie picks for years ( I can't think of an earlier movie I've seen him in). After the initial distraction of his nose wore off, I deemed him my #1 favourite funny boy actor.

It definitely gives his face more character. Even with a nose like that, he would still be desirable to some women.
I personally would prefer his brother Luke over Owen, but it's good to see ONE CELEBRITY who isn't bothered by it and wouldn't go under the knife because of their disfigured/ugly/big nose! **cough, cough (Ashlee Simpson), cough (Michael Jackson).

That's his trademark. And I doubt if he'd change it back to normal.
