I got married at 24 and I now encourage my 17 year old daughter to have her life first, career, travel..
A good age I think to get married is about 28, because you are more mature and settled in yourself and know better what you want out of life..
I also try to help her to understand how important her own independence financially is and not be dependent too much on the man..

If said "gurlz" are 24 or 25 and have not started a life they should feel weird. This might also explain why they have not married, if that is what they desire.

I think that is only true for a woman that has good morals. If it is a young girl who goes around sleeping with everyone that is almost the last thing on their minds because they are caught up in the feeling of multiple sexual partners and not getting caught up in a comittment.
It was real weird when I was 19 back in 92 , I wasnt married yet , I was a virgin, and everyone around me was rushing into marriage. Out of the 12 girls I can think of right off the top of my head only one couple still remains together an loyal to one another. I would rather feel weird than to have a failing marriage and hard feelings and children involved

No! we just keep on living, and just like any one else.
."we still have a chance to get married, you know gurlz or women; are marring later any way,now days, there are no age limited to get married ,i'll know women to get married at the age of 85 yrs old,so there ! in the long run, it really has to do with falling in love...when you find it.
Good Luck to All.

It all depends on expectations. Some of my girl friends are set on NOT getting married til 30, a lot expected to be married as soon as they graduated college and are devastated that they're not. I think it's just the not knowing that gets to us, and it'd be nice to know what to move forward with and when to just quit thinking about it.

do not sweat it! i did not have a bf when I first went into center college, and that i became questioning a similar difficulty! yet having a bf isn't the in basic terms significant difficulty about center college, i promise. in simple terms concentration on something else at the moment and then see what takes position next!!

oh heck yeah! I'm 21 and single, and even though my head says I'm young yet, I'm seeing people I knew in high school getting married and feeling very lonely sometimes...It makes you wonder if that someone really exists.

Nope, not in my case anyway. I married when I was 28, and really it was a huge mistake.
Cest la vie!
