Defensive football always wins. There's a reason why tactics like "total football" disappered. Did you know formations used to be 2-3-5 (2 defenders, 3 midfielders, 5 strikers) back in the old days? Then it evolved to a point where during the 1990s the 4-4-2 was almost universal. Recently, the 4-5-1 attacking formation has become popular, but now as we see at this World Cup, the defensive yet flexible 5-3-2 is what's in fashion. When a great attacking formation i.e. 4-5-1 is used, a defensive one to beat it will always be made. Attacking football never wins.

Try the library or a book store like Barnes & Noble or Borders. Go to the sports section and look for your title. You can read books in a book store without buying them.
