It can. There are other dangers associated with hydrolic pressure as well. Just be slow and careful.

Firstly, water drys your natural femenin wetness out. It would be like sex with out getting arroused. Pretty painful stuff.
Water play is not always a bad thing but not always a good thing either. There is chlorine involved and that can cause rashes, allerigic reations, or even yeast infections; non of which are fun to have. If you are insistant on water play, make sure you have a good lubricant availible and if at all possible, try for a place less chlrorinated like the bath or shower. If you are still insistant on the pool take it slow and only go at a pace you are comfortable at. Use plenty of lube; I would sugguest a silicone based lube for water play since it will not dry out in water.

do you know how many germs are in your pool?
Despite best efforts, some infections may be transmitted through pool water. There have been reports of Giardia, a parasite which causes chronic diarrhea, being transmitted at a water slide park. Cryptosporidium has been reported to have been transmitted at one pool. And it is well known that a certain water-loving bacteria called Pseudomonas can cause inflammation of the skin

you would be having these germs pushed up inside your body, yes it could make you sick.

I wouldn't do it. I know someone who did and got a terrible yeast infection. Can't say for sure that's why, but it was miserable for her.
