Not enough information. Is the roommate really stingy or do you just ask for too much that isn't yours?

find another person that needs a place to stay and make arrangements for them to move in and then tell the other roommate to get out. or if your name isn't on the lease move out yourself. if you can't move out ,or kick the miser out ,then just be overly giving and extra nice and maybe it will rub off on them.good luck with that.hope this helps.

. your roomate might not let you use or borrow stuff of theres but one day they might want something of yours. whenever they ask you to use it or borrow it then do the same thing they do to you even if your not the stingy kind.
