Yes, it should be 50/50. No to be mean, but I don't understand why men should pay 100% for a woman. Women understand and they appreciate that their partner take them into account. :)

May I ask a question first? On your wedding day are you both going to roll out of bed, put on some fancy clothes and get married? How in the world will that feel special? I guess you are into self gratification NOW... move out and live somewhere else, then you won't have this problem of who pays for what. What are you going to do after you are married, haven't you discussed stuff like this? Or you just winging it? Are you really engaged? Do you have a ring and a date?

Well it depends on who makes more money cause if and when you get married are you going to keep everything 50 /50 ? I might start to add up all your money you make together and spend some, save some and so fourth cause if you aren't married yet and worried about this now what will happen when your married.?

It depends how much money you both make but yes, 50/50 if at all possible.

And don't worry about those people that tell you not to live together yet. Life is life and that that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

My boyfriend and I live together. I pay for 1/2 the rent electricity, the internet and the satelite. He pays for 1/2 of the rent, the phone, and his insurance on two vehicles. It all equals out to the same amount on both sides.
We both put in for food.
