I have very green eyes. For me, the best way to bring them out is by wearing a green shirt or a necklace with a green stone in it. As far as makeup goes, I dont' do eyeshadow. I find a really good black mascaera (I use Lash Exact by covergirl and it's GREAT) that's double coated works a lot better than eyeliner, looks natural, and really makes them pop. If you want a more dramatic look, I'd try smokey greys and silvers.

Actually, a shade of violet would bring them out the most, as the opposite color of green on the color wheel is red. These are called complementary colors, which means these colors work to make their opposite color "POP". Since most eyeshadows are not red, then violet or maroon would be the closest. A brownish red would be good too.

This is a quick lesson in color theory. You can go for contrast.
Complementary colors when used together provide contrast and intensify the shade of your eyes. On a color wheel green and red are complementary. Blue and orange are complementary. So in the case of eyes and eyeshadow, the greatest contrast for green eyes would come from red-based shades- purple, mauve, aubergine, eggplant, copper etc. For blue eyes you need to look for orange based shades, warm brown, terra cotta, gold, peach, etc.
Or you can go for subtlety.
Using a liner in the same shade as your eyecolor can make your eyes appear larger. I have seen light blue liners used very effectively for women with light blue eyes, making the eyes look enormous.

Yup, brown brings out green eyes. They compliment each other just as how a green brings out brown eyes. Blend a warm brown, and a lighter one together.

Use golden or rust. Use a cream eyeshadow preferebly. Apply it with ur ring finger since it has the lightest touch. Use the shimmery types

ok im no girl but deal with art and colors for a career so im gona give it a shot i would think a more warm color like red or cremson bc if u use cool colors such as green, blue, ect., ect. its not gonna bring it out but yet make it blend in so wat u need to do is take the attraction of one color blending and turn it into two totally different colors almost clashing but in a fashionable sense that way they got to be lookin at either ur eyes or eye shadow, with no mistake of wats wat
