George Bush is the president, he only makes about 1/6th of all the descions for our country, he didn't decide to go to war, colon powell did, or whoever, teh president only signs things the cabnit tells him to sign, and he just talks to a camera about whatever they told him to sign. bush doesnt do anything worng, hes just a spokesperson, thast all, he doesnt decide anything, unless is whats for desert or somthing? blame our government about things you dontlike, not our president, and im not taking sides or whatever, because i dont like the last name bush, but he does deserve some respect, bc he only says whatever they tell him to say, hes basically a puppet, and the government is the master.

The same reason they blame anyone else for things they don't like... people like that are immature, and don't take responsibility for their own lives. It's not the government's job to make you happy. Remember, the constitution protects your right to persue happiness... might that mean DO SOMETHING about your own life instead of just pointing fingers? Absolutly.

your question is very blanket and hard to take seriously.
1) 1/6th is some number you pulled out of your @ss.
there is republican control of the executive, legislative
and judicial.

2) He didn't decide to go to war?! this statement itself is inaccurate, because he made the case for it. Colon Powell was the actually the one agruing against war, and has retracted what he said at the UN.

THis statement alone make me question if you know anything factual about what happend.

3) The way you describe the way the exective, it is a clear signal you really don't understand very much and maybe saying you have a very basic understanding is being kind.

4) Your basic premise is the people shouldn' blame the president, and that his name should be a factor, and that he deserves respect........

I feel like taking time to answer this has been a waste for me and anyone else..........

However......... i will take this opportuntiy to plug a very good docutmentary as to the role of cheney on the war effort.

See we have appointed not the government in the white house. We have appointed George Bush as the Government of US. So he has the rights to say no to war. Why didn't he say? He has the right to cintrol Collin Powell. We people don't want puppet in the Government. We people should appoint a man like Bill Clinton who was ruling not only the US but also the world in a nice way.

Hope I answered the question ;-)

You're saying he's just a harmless puppet, paid $400k yearly to read off the teleprompter and make dinner decisions..then you say he deserves respect. Wow. Give me some of whatever drugs they're feeding you, they sound like fun. You must really not notice what you're typing, much less what you're thinking.

Bush isn't to blame for everything. Bush is to blame for the decisions he made. The decision to go to war in Iraq was his. He and his administration used and abused whatever intelligence existed to "prove" the existence of massive WMD caches and programs in Iraq, and whipped up a climate of fear. They've found 500 chemical warheads, leftovers from the Iraq-Iran conflict, not the hundreds of liters of biological agents or the hundreds of tons of chemical weapons we were TOLD they KNEW exactly where they were. Not to mention Gitmo, Abu Ghraib, USA PATRIOT Act, "rendition", the administration's dodging of anti-torture legislation, signing statements, outright IGNORING 750 law..need I go on?

I agree Bush is a puppet, he does what he's told to do. But correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't he (As the president) get to choose who else he shares his power with.

Besides since he's been in power he has repeatedly supported several dumb *** moves.

The name Bush is a trigger, to me. I hear it and it pisses me off.

I didn't vote for Bush the first time I didn't vote at all up to that point, but by the time for reelection I registered to vote just so I could vote against him.
I don't like Bush, nothing is going to change my mind.

Know your facts before you start defending him....he has been approving stuff behind the "cabinet's" back for months and they have just caught up with alot of things that he's taken into his own hands that he didn't have the authority to do! Read your newspaper before you get on here defending that loser again!

They blame him because they cannot think of new ways to improve. They are jealous that he is there (NOBODY ascends to the position of president by being stupid). They want the least amount of accountability, but don't want to be proactive. It's so much easier to blame someone else.
